RELIGION
One of the foremost attacks against Freemasonry comes from those who claim that it is a religion in and of itself. There are many accusations that it is devil worship in disguise; that it worships false gods; that it has its own baptism; that it has its own plan of salvation; that it does not allow Jesus to be mentioned in the Lodge; that it has accepted the name of a pagan deity as the true name of God.
Most of these arguments are fostered by religious intolerants who are so dead set again Freemasonry that they will not accept the truth even when it is plainly presented to them. They are fond of quoting from Albert Pike and other Masonic writers, but on many occasions take their teachings out of context, or worse yet, they just plain lie. We are not going to change the mind of these "witch hunters" and we will not endeavor to do so. If, however, you are willing to see the other side of the coin, you will find that Freemasonry is not the Satanic organization that they make us out to be.
